Omar single malt is made from Nantou Winery. The brand Omar is loosely translated from Taiwanese dialect, "Orh Beh", which means dark horse. The brand aims to be what people think they are not - an excellent whisky brand that rivals Kavalan. 

The Omar Lychee Liquor Cask Finish is a special project by the distillery. Using Taiwanese Lychee liquor casks, the distillery finished their bourbon-matured whiskies for a period of time in the lychee liquor casks before bottling. The result is a sweet treat for everyone who love their lychees!
