Macduff is an almost secret distillery since most people wouldn't know about it. Located in the Highlands of Scotland, Macduff is a favourite among whisky blenders. The whiskies made at this distillery are meant for the blenders and not much of the new make went to single malts. While the distillery has a range of single malts under the brand Glen Deveron, it was never marketed as a single malt. 

What usually make it into single malt are casks bought up by independent bottlers such as this one here. Bottled by Ian Macleod under the Chieftain's brand, this is a delicious, raisin soaked single malt whisky that is worth its pennies in gold.
